Overview

Digital Toolbox is built so that your files, camera, and microphone data are processed locally in your browser wherever technically possible, and never uploaded to a server. This policy explains what little data processing does happen.

The site currently sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising scripts of any kind.

Hosting

This site is a static website served via a content delivery network. As with any web request, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and request timestamp in standard server logs, for security and operational purposes only.

Camera- and microphone-based tools

Tools such as the webcam test and mic test access your camera or microphone only with your explicit browser permission, and process that feed entirely on your device using standard browser APIs. Nothing is transmitted to any server. Photos or audio you choose to download are saved directly from your browser to your device.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated first, and a consent banner will only be introduced if and when it becomes legally required.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
